Worm Gearboxes Serie MV_X

WORM GEARBOXES especially manufactured for food and beverage industry, marine industry, car-wash industry, or for the use in aggressive environments.
With the utmost attention being given to oil tightness and cleaning of the gearbox’s exterior surfaces, it allows the unit to be installed near to the working process, without the need of protection by cabinets, guards or covers. It can be washed down and cleaned with most common detergents.

Declutchable worm gearbox SERIE MV

The output shaft of these gearboxes is declutchable mechanically. It's automatically enaged by the force of the springs.

Option: limit switch box.

ATEX (Atmosphere Explosive)

In order to offer a better service, G.M.s.r.l. would like to introduce an important CE norma called ATEX 94/9/CE, which is turned to "protection system and units for use in ambients where there is a potential risk of explosion".
The new Directive considers for the first time the risk of explosion due to a mechanical font.

The classification of equipment in accordance with Atex 100 a (EU/94/9/CE) and Atex 137 (EU/99/92/CE) Directive, into groups, categories and zones can be represented by the following diagram:

Bevel Helical Gear SERIE MO

It's just born a new serie of gearboxes which will extent the standard range of products.
It's a new serie of bevel helical gearboxes, which thanks the use of an hypoidal conical pair, allows to obtain high ratios (from 10 to 250), high performances (0,985 with 2 steps and 0,95 with 3 steps), with small dimensions.The gears are also very quit (even with an input speed of 2800 rpm).

Worm Gearbox SERIE MV

It's now available a new serie of square worm gearboxes for universal fixing in the following sizes: 25,30,40,50,63, 75,90,110. The new MV (version prepared to be coupled with motor) and V (with solid shaft on th input).

- The clean line without any fin, and with water outlet, it's indicated for all the applications where there are liquids, and where wash of machinery is needed.

- All the internal worm and wheel have been recalculated, and the new dimensions and features allow to obtain an higher output torque, and better performances.

- It's now possible to mount options (flanges , encoder , torque arms etc.) directly on the gearbox without any modification.

- It's also possible to have torque limiter version on that serie of worm gearboxes. The safety device protects the kinematic chain against accidental overloads which may affect all the transmission components.

We notify that on sizes 40 and 50 it's possible supply a declutchable system, which allows to declutch the output shaft mechanically during the normal system operation.
